De Aar, South Africa, 27th November - 4th December 2010
Entry Fee: R1000.00 per entry & includes:
A winch release, T/shirt, scoring or wireless internet for uploads (avoid cues),
winching facilities, Prize giving function, medals for each class, briefings, weather reports,
Cell phone tracking & local maps. Excludes recovery!
Entries Limited to 50 pilots, of which 12 places will be kept open for visiting foreign pilots until 20th November
A further 10 places may be allocated at the organizers discretion.

Uncomplicated rules & scoring facilities, the pilot who flies the furthest total distance wins!
Classes for different skill levels: Open, Serial, Sports, Intermediate & Ladies
All tasks from this competition will count towards WPRS ranking (Cat2 event)
First briefing will be on Saturday 27th at 08:00
Local Drivers are available for hire. We can assist with pilots looking for teams for recovery.
Banking details: Once you have registered on XContest, an email will be forwarded to you with payment options. Due to limited numbers, those who pay lst, get preference.
Community Awareness Project
This year a portion of each entry will be donated to the Endangered Wildlife Trust: Birds of Prey Project
Ronelle Visagie (Platberg Karoo Raptor Project), will also be hosting an awareness day on a non flying day during the competition, to enlighten all pilots about this project & how these majestic birds are under threat by things like Power lines & urbanization.
