🏆Now we would like to present World XContest 2024 winners in PG category SPORT (max EN-C) 🏆 🥇The first place belongs to Argentina. Damian Lestarpe returns to the podium again, but this time he changed the Standard category to Sport. All of his best flights were from the winch from the Brazilian Caraúbas. The longest flight was 425 km, with a total score of 2201 points.️ 🇦🇷 🥈Amazing Serena Ronchi achieved a silver medal. As the best women, she deserves all the glory with her cool straight lines from Brazil. The best was 416 km from Assu (total 2063p.). 🇨🇭️ 🥉And third place goes to Poland - Lukasz Sieminski has also changed the podium (from Standard to Sport) and earned the bronze by out-and-return flights from Slovenian Sorica (best 275 km) and from Kenyan Kilima in Kerio valley (2052p.) 🇵🇱 We very much CONGRATULATE all winning pilots and wish you a great new XContest season 2025! 🏆 Today we would like to present winners of SERIAL category (max. EN-D)🏆: 🥇The first place goes to our dearest friend Timo Leonetti 🇫🇷. He won this category on EN-D wing for the second time (2021) with flights mainly in Brazil. His best line is 531 km from Tacima (total 2761p.).🕊 🥈The second place belongs to Italian pilot Davide Sassudelli. He flew incredible flights in Brazil. All his 6 best flights were above 400km, the most valuable free flight from Assu had 483 km, contributed to total score 2715 points. Good luck in the next edition of Red Bull X-Alps! 🇮🇹 🥉And third place with 2251 points goes to Switzerland. Phillippe Leuenberger is back on the Serial podium after 4 years with combination of Brazilian flights and Swiss flat triangle. The best flight is from Caico 454 km. 🇨🇭 We salute your achievements guys! 🏆 Girls power ♀️ We can now present the World XContest 2024 champions - WOMEN ♀️ ! For the third time we have the same cast on the women's podium. 🥇1st: Serena Ronchi from Switzerland has tripled the Women champion title (2021, 2023 and 2024). At the same time she ended 2nd in the Sport category! Her longest flight from Assu was 414 km and her total score was a personal best of 2063 points. 🇨🇭️ 🥈2nd: Silver Ramona Eckert from Germany reached second place with all Alpen flights. The longest one was a FAI traingle 257 km from Defereggen. This season she has also won the Overall category in German Cross Country championship (total score 1889p.). 🇩🇪 🥉3rd: Just 1,37 point behind Ramona is the amazing French pilot Claire Garnesson. She used her home playground again with the longest FAI triangle from St. André 219 km and helped her achieve 1887 points. 🇫🇷 We very much CONGRATULATE you girls, hope you will enjoy the next season 2025 too! 🏆 The 2024 World XContest is officially over and we have new paragliding and hang-gliding WINNERS! 🏆. 🥇Outstanding Swiss pilot Sebastian Benz is back on the podium. He managed to reach the highest rank at the last minute with his flights from Brazil this September. The longest straight line is from Caico 557 km and total score 2892 points.🇨🇭 🥈The second place flies for the third time to amazing French pilot Edouard Potel. This season he utilized August again for his best flights in the French Alps where he managed to fly the longest FAI triangle ever - 352 km from Col d'Izoard (total 2794p.). 🇫🇷 🥉And the third place with 2794 points belongs to our friend and brother @Timo Leonetti from France. His passion and love for flying around the world will always remain in our hearts. His longest flight last October was from Tacima 553 km.
