ATTENTION: CORONA INFO
Update 26 June
At its meeting in June, the Board of Directors agreed to the proposal of the CCC Commission that, based on Corona, the best three instead of the best four valid
flights per pilot count for the CCC overall rankings 2020.
Update 28 May
According to the decision of the Federal Council, the mountain railways may reopen as early as 6 June, instead of 8 June as planned. Therefore, the CCC can also be
officially reopened from 6 June. At its meeting at the end of June, the Executive Board will examine whether the best three flights per category should be considered
for the 2020 final ranking instead of four valid flights due to the Cross Country Cup lockdown.
09.05.2020 - Opening XContest
Dear pilots
The World XContest for Swiss pilots will be reopened on Monday, 11 May. From this date on, all submitted flights will be visible again on www.xcontest.org.
In Switzerland, the competition and event ban will probably remain in force until 7 June. From June 8, the mountain railways could reopen, and perhaps
competitions will also be allowed again - both of course under strict protective conditions. It is therefore foreseeable that the XContest Switzerland
(www.xcontest.org/switzerland) can be officially opened from 8 June.
The board has decided to suspend the XContest since 16 March for the period mentioned above. Therefore the flights will not remain visible afterwards.
We thank you for your compliance with the rules of the federation.
The SHV wishes you nice flights and Happy Landings
Your Team SHV
17.03.2020 - The CCC / XContest Switzerland will be closed until further notice.
The reason for this is the current ban on events. Flights uploaded from 17 March onwards will be automatically deactivated. This means that the flights will not be
publicly visible in the XContest during this period. Flights that are entered at a later date for the blocked period will also be automatically deactivated.
This is due to the decisions of the Federal Council against the coronavirus. This states that all private and sporting events are prohibited. The XContest is a Swiss Championship
and therefore an event. All countries in the surrounding area have, to our knowledge, also suspended the XContest. Further information about the current situation under
www.shv-fsvl.ch.
Welcome to the Cross Country Cup 2020 (CCC).
No major changes have been made for the season 2020. Only in the category hang gliders the four best flights will be counted instead of the best three.
Pilots who are SHV/FSVL members and take part in the Cross Country Cup (CCC) can enter their flights on this website.
The flights will then be scored for the daily and annual rankings.
Since 2017, there's no more sports license required to take part in the CCC. So participation is free of charge.
You just have to be member of the SHV/FSVL. All previous services are still guaranteed by SHV/FSVL.
If you want your flights to be taken into account for the club rankings,
you need to enter the respective club at registration. You have to be a member of this club. Changing the club during the season is
not possible (after April 30th of the respective year).
Only flights which are claimed on this site will be taken into the CCC rankings. You'll find further information about the rules
here.
All other pilots (who don't participate in the CCC) can claim their flights on
the World XContest website. The World XContest provides a ranking over all national
contests. So you can review and compare the flights of all pilots, whether they participate in the CCC or not.
Basic structure:
Left menu: contains references to pages with informations about flights, pilots and ranking in particular classes.
Furthermore you can find here rules and F.A.Q.
Right menu: for "users", contains references to pages which can user (pilot) use for registration, flight claim,
pilot profile management, etc.
